On September 24 and 25 there is a Ranger Relay event going to be held, for which Back on My Feet is an official charity partner. Volunteers are needed for this event. For each volunteer BOMF will receive $120, which we raise for BOMF programs to help the homeless. Through this activity, the volunteers will explore and learn more about Washington’s neighborhood. And it is also a great opportunity to do some social networking with sports professionals. Also the contribution volunteers make to the Ranger Relay is indirectly help to those homeless people. For added motivation, we will have a FREE Happy Hour for volunteers at Union Pub from 6-8 on Monday, September 27.
So I’m wondering if you could pass along this volunteer opportunity to other students of our department or any referrals who might be interested. I’ll really appreciate it if you do so.
